  • What is Physical Therapy?
Physical therapy (PT), is a healthcare profession focused on improving, maintaining, or restoring physical function, mobility, and quality of life. Physical therapists (PTs) are highly trained healthcare professionals who work with patients of all ages and abilities, from infants to the elderly, to address a wide range of conditions and injuries. Physical therapy encompasses various treatment techniques, exercises, and modalities aimed at addressing musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and other physical impairments.
  • Why Does Everyone Need Physical Therapy?
Regardless of age, occupation, or physical condition, everyone can benefit from physical therapy services and regular body work. Our bodies endure daily stresses, whether from sedentary lifestyles, repetitive motions at work, or the natural aging process. Physical therapy helps restore mobility, reduce pain, and prevent injuries by addressing underlying musculoskeletal issues. Moreover, regular body work promotes relaxation, improves circulation, and enhances overall well-being. Investing in these services isn't just about addressing existing issues; it's about proactively caring for our bodies to maintain optimal health and function for the long term. Just as we prioritize regular check-ups for our cars to prevent breakdowns, we should prioritize physical therapy and body work to ensure our bodies remain in peak physical condition.
  • Why Should I Invest in My Health?
Prioritizing your health is not just about occasional visits to the doctor or the occasional workout. It's about making consistent, conscious choices every day that support your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This means eating nourishing foods, staying hydrated, getting regular exercise, managing stress effectively, getting enough sleep, and seeking preventive care. It also involves setting boundaries, practicing self-compassion, nurturing relationships, and engaging in activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. Remember, your health is your most valuable asset, and investing time and effort into it pays off in the form of a happier, more vibrant life. So, make yourself a priority, because when you're at your best, you can show up more fully for yourself and others.
  • Benefits of Investing in Your Body
Physical Health: Your body is your vehicle for life. Maintaining its health ensures that you can move, work, play, and enjoy life to the fullest. Regular exercise, proper nutrition, and preventive care can help prevent chronic diseases, improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles and bones, and boost your immune system. Mental Health: Physical well-being is closely tied to mental health. Exercise releases endorphins, which can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, taking care of your body can improve sleep quality, cognitive function, and overall mood. Quality of Life: When your body is healthy and functioning well, you can engage in activities you enjoy without limitations. Whether it's traveling, pursuing hobbies, spending time with loved ones, or excelling in your career, good health enhances your ability to live life to the fullest. Longevity: Healthy habits can contribute to a longer, more active life. By taking care of your body, you increase your chances of living independently and enjoying a higher quality of life as you age. Self-Esteem: Caring for your body can boost self-esteem and self-confidence. When you feel good physically, you're more likely to feel positive about yourself and your abilities. Setting an Example: Taking care of your body sets a positive example for others, especially children and loved ones. It demonstrates the importance of self-care and encourages those around you to prioritize their health as well. Overall, taking care of your body is essential for both your present well-being and your future. It's an investment in yourself that pays dividends in terms of vitality, happiness, and longevity.
  • Do You Take Insurance?
Goodness no. We do not contract with insurance companies and here's why: Greater Autonomy - By not accepting insurance we have more control over our practice. This autonomy allows us to prioritize personalized care and tailor treatments to individual patient needs without interference from insurance requirements. Enhanced Focus on Patient Care - Without the administrative burden of dealing with insurance companies, we can devote more time and attention to patient care. We can focus on building strong therapeutic relationships, conducting thorough evaluations, and implementing comprehensive treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes. Flexibility in Treatment Approaches - By not relying on insurance reimbursement, we are not constrained by insurance-mandated treatment protocols or limitations on covered services. This flexibility enables us to explore a wider range of therapeutic techniques, modalities, and approaches, including innovative or alternative methods that may not be covered by insurance. Transparent Pricing and Billing - Patients who pay out of pocket for physical therapy services often appreciate the transparency and simplicity of pricing. Without the complexities of insurance billing, we can provide upfront information about costs, payment options, and financial arrangements, fostering trust and transparency in the therapeutic relationship. Patient choice - Network healthcare plans can be exclusive and coverage for a quality provider is not a high priority for insurance companies. For individuals without health insurance or with limited coverage for physical therapy, accessing services from PTs who do not accept insurance empowers them to chose a provider based on quality care and not based on contractual obligations from insurance companies. Focus on Preventive Care and Wellness - We place greater emphasis on preventive care, health promotion, and wellness initiatives. By encouraging regular physical activity, proper body mechanics, and lifestyle modifications, we can help patients prevent injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve overall health and well-being. Overall, not accepting insurance allows for greater flexibility, autonomy, and focus on personalized, high-quality care.
  • How much is a treatment session?
At Two Points Physical Therapy we offer flexible and affordable pricing to ensure you receive the care you need. Wellness Packages - subscription-based physical therapy services offer several financial advantages: Cost Predictability - subscribing to a wellness package means paying a fixed monthly or annual fee. This can help budget your healthcare expenses more effectively, as you know exactly how much you'll be spending each month. Cost Savings - our wellness packages are deeply discounted which results in cost savings compared to paying for individual PT sessions allowing you to access a certain number of sessions per month for a lower overall cost. Elimination of Insurance Hassles - with traditional fee-for-service physical therapy, you may have to deal with insurance claims, copayments, and deductibles. Wellness packages eliminate or reduce these hassles, as you pay a flat fee directly to the provider. Preventative Care Incentives - our wellness model will encourage you to seek preventive care and stay on track with your prescribed plan of care. This will lead to better outcomes and lower healthcare costs in the long run. Flexible Payment Options - we offer many different packages to accommodate your varying needs and budget. This flexibility allows you to choose the option that best fits your financial situation and healthcare goals. Competitive Pay Per Visit Pricing - our competitive pay per visit model ensures you receive exceptional care without breaking the bank. With transparent pricing and no hidden fees, you can focus on your recovery with peace of mind. We tailor each session to your specific needs, maximizing the value of every visit. • Will I Get Reimbursed for Treatment?
Most major health insurance plans offer out of network coverage. Depending on your specific plan, there is a probability that your out of pocket costs will be reimbursed. Upon request, we can provide a superbill for you to present to your insurance company for reimbursement.
  • How Long do Treatments Last?
You have the flexibility to chose the length of treatment that works best for you. We offer one hour appointments, 30 minute appointments and 15 minute dry needling sessions (available for existing patients only).
